Our graduands represent the university’s commitment to contributing to the country’s professional and human-resource base,” he said.

Soroti University opened its door to admit students in the 2019/2020 academic year with two programs that is Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of surgery and Bachelor of Nursing Sciences under the School of Health Sciences. In January 2020 the university admitted students for Bachelor of computer and Electronics Engineering under the school of Sciences and Technology.

However, Covid and eventual lockdown to contain the spread of Corona virus interrupted the University’s academic program with the university adopting blended online learning.  The upcoming ceremony positions Soroti University as a rising centre of academic excellence and innovation, poised to play a significant role in national development.
