Mr. Oscar Onap, the third-year student of medicine is the new guild president after winning the hotly contested Soroti University guild elections becoming the third guild president of the Teso based Soroti University.
The Guild Electoral Commission declared Onap Oscar the winner in a two-man race after garnering 256 votes representing 68.27% against his only challenger Baker Samuel who got 117 votes cast representing 31.20% of the total voters. Onap Oscar replace the outgoing guild president Mr. Stanley Nakahaima
