Soroti university in partnership with Rotary club of Kampala is conducting free medical services to the community of Ngora district in a medical camp in Kapir HC 3 has drawn hundreds of patients, mostly mothers and elderly men for free medical attention.
Prof. Omaswa, the Chancellor Soroti university, and the vice chancellor Soroti University together with other Rotarians during the medical camp in Kapir, Ngora district yesterday.
The medical camp attracted thousands of people for free services which included cancer screening and testing, sickle cell, mental health, family planning, Eye clinic, Dental health care services etc.

The event was organised by Prof. Omaswa, Rotary club of Ngora sponsored by the Rotary club of Kampala among other clubs.
Soroti, Busitema and Makerere Universities supported the medical camp with a team medical professional. Uganda law society, legal Aid project was on the ground to offer legal support, Enterprise Uganda for financial literacy, Redcross for blood donation, Marie stopes among other organisations.
The two days event which started on the 20th will end today 21st September 2024 where thousands of patients will be attended to by the medical team and patients with major cases referred to the medical facilities within the region for more attention.
