1. School of Health Sciences
1.1 Lecturer – Radiology
- Vacancies: 1 (One)
- Salary Scale: PU6.1
- Tenure: Permanent
- Reports To: Head of Department
- Purpose: To teach, supervise, promote research, disseminate research findings, and participate in Community Service.
- Person Specifications:
- Master of Medicine in Radiology.
- MBChB, MBBS, or BDS as the first degree.
- At least two (2) publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- At least two (2) years of teaching, research experience, or clinical practice.
- Registration with the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners’ Council with a valid practicing license.
1.2 Assistant Lecturer – Physiotherapy
- Vacancies: 1 (One)
- Salary Scale: PU6.2-TS
- Tenure: Permanent
- Age Limit: Below 40 years at the time of the advert.
- Reports To: Head of Department
- Purpose: Assist senior staff in teaching and examining undergraduate students, conducting practicals, and research activities.
- Person Specifications:
- Master of Science Degree in Physiotherapy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Rehabilitation.
- Demonstrated competence in computer and communication skills.
- Registration with the Uganda Allied Health Professionals Council with a valid practicing license.
1.3 Assistant Lecturer – Psychiatry

- Reports To: Head of Department
- Purpose: To teach, supervise, promote research, disseminate research findings, and participate in Community Service.

2. School of Engineering and Technology
2.1 Professor – Electronics and Computer Engineering
- Vacancies: 1 (One)
- Salary Scale: PU3
- Tenure: Permanent
- Reports To: Head of Department
- Purpose: Provide academic leadership and knowledge in the relevant discipline and lead the development and implementation of research and publications.
- Person Specifications:
- PhD in Electronics Engineering.
- Master of Science in Electronics Engineering.
- Bachelor of Electrical or Electronics from a recognized institution.
- At least twelve (12) publications (4 after appointment to Associate Professor in peer-reviewed journals), OR ten (10) book chapters (5 after last appointment), OR two (2) books with ISBN numbers.
- Supervised two (2) graduate students to completion (one at PhD level).
- Contribution to community service.
- Winning grants is an added advantage.
2.2 Senior Lecturer – Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering

- Salary Scale: PU5
- Tenure: Permanent
- Reports To: Head of Department
- Purpose: To teach, supervise, promote research, disseminate research findings, and participate in Community Service.
- Person Specifications:
- Master’s and PhD in Structural Engineering.
- Honours Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Published at least three (3) articles in peer-reviewed journals OR at least three (3) book chapters / one (1) book with an ISBN number since the last appointment.
- At least three (3) years of teaching or research experience.
- Supervised at least two (2) graduate students to completion.
- Contribution to community service.
