Overview
Soroti University, in line with its approved disposal plan, invites sealed bids from eligible individuals and organizations for the disposal of livestock and other items. The disposal process will be conducted in accordance with the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003 (as amended), and is open to all interested bidders.
Bid Submission Details
- Inspection and Information:Interested bidders may obtain more information and inspect the bidding documents from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on working days at the Soroti University Procurement and Disposal Unit.
- Purchase of Bid Documents:Bidding documents are available in English upon written request and payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 50,000.Payment is made through the Government of Uganda’s central collection system by logging into payment.sun.ac.ug to generate a Zee Pay reference number before paying in any commercial bank.
- Bid Submission Deadline:All bids must be delivered to the address provided in the bid document on or before Thursday, 30th October 2025 at 11:30 a.m.Bids must remain valid until Friday, 28th November 2025. Late bids will not be accepted.
- Bid Opening:Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, 30th October 2025.
