Soroti University through the Office of the University Secretary invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified providers for the Provision of Staff Health Insurance under the Open Domestic Bidding procedure.
The University has allocated funds within its approved budget for this procurement and now invites interested bidders to submit bids in accordance with the Government of Uganda’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003 (as amended).

Availability of Bidding Documents
Interested and eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the Soroti University Procurement and Disposal Unit during working days from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The bidding documents, prepared in English, may be purchased upon submission of a written application and payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000 (Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand only).
Payment shall be made through the Government of Uganda/URA Central Collection System by:
- Logging into: payment.sun.ac.ug
- Obtaining a ZeePay Reference Number
- Proceeding to make payment through any bank
Bid Submission and Opening
Completed bids must be delivered to the Soroti University Procurement and Disposal Unit on or before:
Bid Closing Date: Friday, 31st July 2026
Closing Time: 11:30 a.m. (Local Time)
Bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 4,000,000 in the form of:
- An unconditional bank guarantee; or
- Bid bond guarantee from an insurance company regulated by the Insurance Regulatory Authority.
The bid security must remain valid until Friday, 30th October 2026.
Late submissions shall not be accepted.
Bid opening will take place in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend:
